About flowpaper

Flowpaper, an interactive drawing app that lets you draw with beautiful flowing lines of colour. It's designed to help people practice mindfulness through drawing, or just to relax and have fun. In the past people have also used it to create cat portraits, and other interesting drawings. Flowpaper has also been used in classroom settings to help teach children generative drawing. Conceived in 2009 and based on Processing, the idea originated during a class by Golan Levin and has since progressed to an iOS app via Open Frameworks. Flowpaper is accessible at flowpaper.io and the App Store, with plans to expand to more platforms.
